easter joy

Easter typically isn't a holiday that comes to mind when asked what my favorites are. However, each year I've grown to love it more. Growing up (despite my mom's best efforts) I was much more focused on the eggs and treats than the real reason for the day. Can't think of a better way to celebrate then going to church to learn more about Him. My heart left feeling especially full.

While my boys took a little snooze, I had some quiet time for myself. This past year I have learned to better apply the atonement within my life. In my weakest of moments I know that "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (Philippians 4:13).

Something about Easter got people posting pictures of their families. Couldn't help but make me smile that so many people get that because of Him, families can be together forever. I'm pretty excited about that.
