Fortified Cité de Carcassonne

You can't go to Europe and not a see a castle at some point. 

If you can only see one, well then the medieval city of Carcassonne is the one to see.

I'm sure Tanner got sick of me saying multiple times, "Look it's a castle! A real castle!"

I thought my heart was gonna explode 'cause I was so excited!

Knights and swords and horses!

We spent the day exploring the castle and the little shops within the city walls.

What a place to end our time in France huh?

p.s. We had an hour stop in Narbonne, I couldn't very well leave France without one more pastry. I watched our luggage while Tanner got us our last pain au chocolat (for now at least).
